Soldier's Daughter Alleges Rape Threats Over Post, Given Security | Read
A Facebook post by Soldier's daughter Gurmehar Kaur against BJP-linked student outfit ABVP over campus violence is at the centre of a huge political row. The student has alleged death and rape threats after her online campaign against the ABVP or Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad went viral. In a complaint to the Delhi Commission for Women, Ms Kaur has said that she fears for her life and the safety of her family. Her request for security and action has been forwarded to the Delhi Police.
