Does Standing For India's Unity Make Me A Goon, Asks ABVP Member Who Alleged Assault

A member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad or ABVP said that she was molested by members of Left-affiliated student unions during the clashes at Delhi's Ramjas College last week. Speaking to NDTV, Prerna Bhardwaj, a member of the ABVP, said, "Just because I belong to ABVP, does it mean my wounds hurt less? Just because I stand up for the integrity and unity of India, does it mean I am a goon?". Seen in a video punching another girl during the violence, she said she "just hit others in self-defence while we were being molested".
