Mind Your Language: Supreme Court Leads The Way

In a welcome step towards doing away with stereotypes and perceived notions against women, the Supreme Court, earlier this week, compiled a glossary of words to be avoided by judges and lawyers while writing judgments or filing cases before courts. This is an extremely important move not just for the courts but also for society, schools, media, and political leaders to be aware of words that matter and do away with biased language that perpetuates gender sterotypes.
