A man finally managed to get possession of his property in Jaipur after a nearly four-decade-long legal battle. Ravi Khandelwal had purchased the property in the city's commercial area in the 1980s at a government auction. The owner of a saree shop, housed in the property when it was sold to Mr Khandelwal, refused to vacate despite the sale, setting in motion a long-drawn legal battle, all the way from the lower courts to the Supreme Court.
