Manish Tewari, Congress MP said that "all my 56 questions in parliament have been disallowed on grounds of national security. Over the past six sessions of parliament, I have been trying to persuade the government to have a discussion on the broader Sino-Indian relationship. Unfortunately, the government has been very diffident. It is not to finger-point at the government. Everyone understands it's a difficult situation. The government has been trying to grapple with it to the best of its ability."
