Five years ago filmmaker Gautam Pemmaraju got a grant from the India Foundation of Arts to work on 'Mazhahiya Shayari', an old tradition of wit and satire in Dakhani poetry. As he worked on this he was frequently faced with the question - what is Dakhani? 'A Tongue Untied: The Story of Dakhani' attempts to answer that question. On 'Art Matters', a glimpse into the film, which will be released in India next month.
