"I don't know why the Opposition got so angry," RLD MP and former Prime Minister Charan Singh's grandson Jayant Chaudhary said. This comes after several Opposition MPs objected to the time given to the RLD MP when he started speaking about the Bharat Ratna honour for his grandfather. The Opposition MPs asked the Chair under which rule of the House was Mr Singh allowed to speak. "We should not have got divided... It is a moment of great honour for the country. Farmers of our country know MS Swaminathan. PV Narasimha Rao led economic reforms and Charan Singh was the nation's hero," he said.
