Carnatic Concert For Fishermen In Chennai Breaks Barriers | Read
In an effort to promote classical music beyond the boundaries of elite gatherings, a musical concert was organised on the sea shore near a fishing colony adjoining Elliot's Beach in Chennai. Organiser of the event, Carnatic vocalist T M Krishna said,"Access to all forms of music should be there for everyone. And that's the best way to get people together. People who don't normally get together are brought together." The experimental annual concert is into its second edition.
