Ability In Disability: Bringing People With Disabilities Into The Mainstream Cinema

According to the World Health Organisation, over 1 billion people are estimated to experience disability. This corresponds to about 15 per cent of the global population. Despite the large, global population dealing with a disability the surrounding stigma ingrained in society detracts from the remarkable ability of many individuals. An English feature film, One Little Finger, with the theme 'Ability in Disability' challenges these norms by ambitiously casting over 80 persons with disabilities.
