On Tuesday, the Centre slashed the prices of LPG cylinders. While the government termed it as a 'Rakhi gift', the opposition pointed out the move came ahead of the crucial elections. But the Centre is not the only one coming up with schemes focusing on women. The Congress government in Karnataka and Rajasthan have also made promises to women voters in recent days.
