As the government ends the exchange of 500 and 1000 rupee notes except at the Reserve Bank of India, we look at the cash ban and what it means in rural India. 47 per cent of India's population does not have a bank account. Where do these people go and if the answer is to open a bank account, is it all that easy to do?
