Top Court To Hear Cops' Appeal Against Student-Activists' Bail Today, Other Top Stories

Student-activists Natasha Narwal, Devangana Kalita and Asif Iqbal Tanha walked out of Delhi's Tihar jail on Thursday evening. The Supreme Court will hear Delhi Police's plea against their bail given by the Delhi High Court. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has filed a petition in the Calcutta High Court, challenging the election of the BJP's Suvendu Adhikari from Nandigram. The CBSE and the ISCE formulae for Class 12 assessment is out. The criteria gives 30 per cent weightage to Classes 10 and 11 marks for the CBSE, and 40 per cent to Class 12 for the ICSE. Many students are now asking why the past should determine their future.
