Daniel Puerto, LGBT Colombian immigrant and community activist fighting for human rights joined the #DilSeSewa telethon from New York. At the telethon, he talked about his experience in the Gurdwaras and said, "When I came here and went to Gurdwaras, I learned about the culture, the impact of the Sikh community which is based on the principle of hard work and equality. The community ensures everyone has access to food. I have also seen how the community managed to serve people in these trying times of COVID."
