Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, in a measured but firm address at the UN general assembly, took on Nawaz Sharif and the issue of cross border terrorism. She talked about countries that finance terrorists and human rights violations in Balochistan. Her speech came on a day when PM Modi chaired a meeting with top officials to review the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan. India, sources said, has decided to make maximum use of water from rivers which flow into Pakistan, while not ruling out further steps in the future. Is India succeeding in the diplomatic isolation of Pakistan?
