Former telecom minister A Raja, DMK leader M Kanimozhi and 15 others were acquitted today in what was described as India's biggest telecom scandal, the "2G scam". While the Congress says its stand has been vindicated, the BJP says it is important to remember that the Supreme Court had cancelled the 122 licences in 2012 because it thought there was something wrong, and that this verdict may have more to do with the CBI not being able to prove its case. But as the CBI says it will challenge the verdict, there are many unanswered questions. Reality Check tries to find answers.
