S&P 500 reaches a 4 year high in the opening trade above 1,367.17; markets are trading in a narrow band while dow flirts with the 13,000 mark. Meanwhile, shoppers are back in US malls as consumer confidence index in the US hits the level seen in the last one year. However, US home sales fell in January.
