In response to the Telangana agitation, the state government has clarified that action will be initiated against schools which do not open from Tuesday. The government had earlier issued the ultimatum for Monday. The TRS-led pro-Telangana groups have cancelled the rail roko planned for Monday and instead opted for a full-fledged bandh in the Telangana districts. State transport buses that started plying on Sunday after staying off the road for nearly a month will be back inside the depot. The Chief Minister has instructed private schools to reopen but with buses and autos off the road, it is unlikely that children will be able to attend school today.
