After spending two nights in jail, a 19-year-old is released on bail in Rampur, UP. He was arrested for sharing a Facebook post with communal content which was wrongly attributed to senior UP Minister Azam Khan. Section 66A of the IT Act allows such arrests to be allowed. But in a democracy does misuse of Section 66A benefit the political class at the cost of freedom of expression? We debate.
