Commenting on the report by the Supreme Court-appointed committee which claims that close to 86% farmers supported the laws, Ashok Thakur, Director, NAFED claims if a survey was done, then most farmers would gone with the reforms. He adds, 'The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (who were protesting against the farm laws) knew this, that is why they did not participate."
