We spoke to Shivakumar and asked whether this outward appearance of a patch-up is true or is he are locked in a cold war. The Karnataka elections are less than a year away. On the face of it, the ruling BJP appears to be on the backfoot. The tenure has been rocked by controversies: from communal tensions to allegations of corruption. There are rumours that suggest Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai could be replaced. Some of it thanks to the voices from the BJP. We discuss whether Mr Bommai could be shown the door?
