Xi Jinping Likely To Be China's President For Life

Xi Jinping will lead China for a third term in power along with a new top team, making him the most powerful Chinese leader since party founder Mao Zedong. The men he picked for his Standing Committee are also all figures rewarded for their loyalty. There are no challengers against him now in the top tier of the party. Saturday's closing ceremony saw Xi's predecessor Hu Jintao being escorted out, apparently unwillingly, with the state media later saying he had not been well.
