Voter Turnout In Mumbai, At 44.4%, Is Lowest Since 1989

Mumbai registered a voter turnout of just 44.4%, a decline from 55.1% registered during the Lok Sabha elections in April this year. This is the lowest voter turnout for the city since 1989, when the metropolis had registered a turnout of 57.7%. Maharashtra's voter turnout stood at 60.5%.
