Congress spokesperson Amee Yagnik urged everyone to avoid politicising the bill. "Today is not the day. The country's women are thinking of today as their day. There will be enough time to discuss this. Let us allow the women to enjoy the moment. Let us not belittle the victory by bickering on this. It is definitely the vision of Rajiv Gandhi and that is why we have one lakh women sarpanch today in the country," she said.
