BYJU'S laid off about 100 employees from its media content division in Kerala, days after it announced a plan to improve profitability by March next year by cutting its workforce by 5 percent to lower costs. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union Minister of State for Electronics and Technology, today spoke to NDTV about the layoffs by Byju's. "Every business in the world goes through its own cycle. Some succeed, and some don't succeed. The government can't comment on that," he told NDTV.
