The Delhi Metro, which has been shut since March 22, is set to resume operations from September 7, in a graded manner. The metro travel experience is set to change with thermal scanning and social distancing rules across the station as well as inside trains. There will be alternate seating inside trains, one-step gap on escalators and a foot pedal for operating the lift instead of using lift buttons. NDTV brings this report about the arrangements from what is known as Delhi's busiest metro station- Rajeev Chowk.
