Malegaon: Army man under scanner
The Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad seems to be closing in on the serving Army lieutenant colonel suspected to be involved in the September 29 Malegaon blasts. Lt Colonel Srikant Purohit is currently being questioned in Mumbai and has not been formally interrogated. The police are only asking him basic questions. Army sources say that the questioning has been cursory so far. Purohit has been asked about his background like information on his schooling, postings and nature of work.
