The preliminary report by the government investigators into the recent attack on Lankan cricketers in Lahore has blamed senior police and security officials. Six policemen and a driver were killed in that attack and six Lankan players and their assistant coach were also wounded. The report says the attack took place because senior police officials on VVIP duty with the Sri Lankan team didn't fulfill their responsibilities properly.
