Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Chinese President Hu Jintao on Tuesday, signalling the two countries want to take their relationship beyond a troubled past. Even though India is still uncomfortable with the China-Pakistan relationship, officials say Pakistan did not come up in the talks.
