A 12-foot crocodile was rescued by locals in the Sangliwadi area of Sangli district in Maharashtra. The reptile was later handed over to the forest department. Several districts of Maharashtra have been severely battered by torrential rain for days now. People have been forced to live on rooftops as the district was battered by floods. (Credit: ANI)
