Delhi University opened for the freshers, the first batch to get admitted through the controversial CUET exam. Students celebrate coming to college, say CUET created a fair level-playing field, but they remember the many troubles they faced to get into their college. At Daulat Ram College, the Principal and the teachers say the batch is one of many firsts, even if they faced troubles during CUET, they're the first to get a fluid college curriculum. The students also entered college 2 months later than the normal batches, teachers say they'll still have a smooth session. Students say, at the end, entering DU today was worth all the trouble and wait.
