People With Comorbidities Must Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19: Expert

While answering frequently asked questions about COVID-19 vaccination, Dr Suranjit Chatterjee, Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital underlined that people with comorbidities must get themselves inoculated. He said that people with comorbidities like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and those with compromised immunity are at much more risk than anyone else for developing severe disease. So, they are definitely the prime candidates for vaccination, he said.
