Journalists including those from NDTV went to interview Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda. During the interview, the Maoist leader said he would be releasing one of the hostages and handing him over to the media contingent. Claudio Colangelo was freed this morning. NDTV's Kishalay Bhattacharjee gives a detailed account of when and how it happened.
