MCOCA applicable on Malegaon accused?

A special court will on Thursday decide if the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act is applicable against the 11 accused of the Malegaon blast case. The defence has challenged the validity of MCOCA on them. The Anti-Terrorism Squad filed an over 4000-page charge sheet on Monday, charging the accused under various laws of the IPC and the UAPA.
