Making Efforts to Clean Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Harish Rawat

The floating population of religious tourists that come to Uttarakhand every year is a bit difficult to regulate, but we are making efforts to educate make people aware about the importance of cleanliness, says Harish Rawat, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. "We're also trying to control plastic stuff that makes its way into our rivers", he adds. He also pledged an hour each day for this year to work out strategies and logistics which will make sure that Uttarakhand climbs up the cleanliness ladder.
