India Inks 10-Year Deal To Operate Iran's Key Chabahar Port

Eight years after concluding the general framework of cooperation on the Chabahar port in Iran, India and Iran have signed a 10-year contract for its operation. The long-term agreement enables India to operate the Shahid Beheshti terminal. However, the US has warned that anyone considering business deals with Iran faces potential risk of sanctions.
