Highway Liquor Ban: Is The Cost Too High?

Liquor shops, hotels, restaurants and bars near highways have had to stop selling alcohol due to a Supreme Court order. Hotel and restaurant owners have held several meeting within themselves and also with the government. Some even held protests. State governments are moving to denotify state highways to get around the top court ordering. On Agenda today, we discuss: will the ban stop road deaths? Is the economical cost of this order too high?
