The Prime Minister's Office has been drawn into a controversy over if it interfered in CBI's report on the coal scam before it was placed before the Supreme Court. Both the Left and the right parties have demanded the Prime Minister's resignation. Another crisis occurring simultaneously as the house is split down the middle with the opposition refusing to accept the Joint Parliamentary Committee's report on the 2G scam.
