On The Social Network today, we set out to discuss if the Mayan legend of Doomsday that became the dominant trend on the social media worldwide and united the consumers of news media more than what the political news headlines of the traditional media are able to achieve. And if that was the case, is it then just a matter of time when the traditional media would fall to disuse? But just then breaking news struck - in the wake of last week's gang-rape in Delhi, the Government of India directed the state government to shut all pubs at 1 am. In the studio, we taste the reality and the urgency to report the issues at hand on priority.
