Target-Based Tax Collection Should be Removed: Dinesh Kanabar

Dinesh Kanabar, deputy CEO at KPMG India, says "if you give a tax officer a target to collect 20-30 per cent more taxes, where the economy is growing at 5 per cent and profitability of companies is growing at 10 per cent, you then actually get into a situation where the officers are forced to look at enhancing your income which actually does not exist."
