Boost For Telecom Firms As Top Court Strikes Down Call Drop Levy

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that consumers cannot claim compensation for call drops, striking down a regulation that mandated operators to pay subscribers Rs 1 for every call drop, starting January 1, 2016.
