Elections are round the corner and thanks to identity politics, the issue of illegal migrants is a major one for all political parties so, when seven Rohingya men were identified to be sent back to Myanmar today, it became an extraordinary piece of news. Amit Shah at a public meeting in Rajasthan said that each illegal immigrant will be taken out of voters list and the process of sending them back has started today.
