Petrol is being traded across Uttar Pradesh at an average price of Rs 102.37. No change was recorded in the price in Uttar Pradesh since yesterday, June 12th 2026. Petrol prices in Uttar Pradesh closed at an average price of Rs 102.37 per litre last month on May 31, 2026, unchanged in the month. Fuel prices are based on the dynamic fuel pricing system and are revised regularly. Several factors determine the prices, such as the Rupee to US dollar exchange rate, cost of crude oil, global cues, and demand for fuel, among others. Fuel rates are revised daily at 6 am since June 2017 after a new scheme was implemented.

Before this, prices were revised every fortnight. Various factors impact the price of fuel, these include the Rupee to US dollar exchange rate, cost of crude oil, global cues, demand for fuel, and so on. When international crude oil prices gain, prices in India move higher. The price of fuel includes excise duty, value-added tax (VAT), and dealer commission. VAT varies from state to state. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and VAT, the retail selling price of the petrol gets nearly doubled.
