Director Pooja Bhatt and the starcast of Jism 2 have written a letter to Chief MinisterPrithviraj Chavan requesting him to ban the use of horse-drawncarriages in the city.
The Jism 2 team, including Sunny Leone, Arunoday Singh,Dino Morea, Arko Pravo Mukerjee, have teamed up with Peoplefor the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to fight for thecause.
"Forcing horses to haul carriages in Mumbai, where theycreate a traffic nuisance, is inherently cruel; horsesroutinely collapse, and people have died from the accidentsthe horses cause. It is high time to put horse carriages outto pasture for good," the letter read.
