The teaser of Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi's forthcoming film Chehre released on Thursday and it offers a narrative on how each human being has committed a crime at least once in their life. In the teaser of the film, which also stars Annu Kapoor, he can be heard saying in the backdrop: "Iss duniya mein koi bhi banda aesa nahi hai jisne apni life m apradh na kia ho (There is no one in this world who has not committed a crime in their lives)," followed by Emraan Hashmi's voiceover: "Aaj imandaar woh hai jiski baimaani pakdi nahi gayi aur begunah wo hai jiska jurm pakda na gaya ho (Nowadays, innocent is only the one who hasn't been caught for crime). At the end of the teaser, Amitabh Bachchan can be heard saying: "Humari adalaton mein justice nhi judgement hga, Insaaf nhi faisla hoga (Our judiciary never gives justice, only judgment).

Sharing the teaser, Amitabh Bachchan wrote: "Are you ready to #FaceTheGame? Kyuki iss adaalat mein khel ki shuruaat ho chuki hai. #ChehreTeaser out now. Dekhiye #Chehre in cinemas, April 9."

Chehre, directed by Rumi Jafry and produced by Anand Pandit, was earlier slated to release on February 21 last year but got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown. The makers changed the release date to April 30, 2020 and now, the film will finally open in theatres on April 9.

Chehre also stars Krystle D'Souza, Siddhanth Kapoor and Raghubir Yadav.
