CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Analysis 2021: The students and teachers reviewed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 Business studies paper as standard and balanced. According to students, the paper followed the NCERT pattern with questions asked were balanced and equal weightage provided on every sections. Akash Joshi, a Kendriya Vidyalaya student said, "The Business Studies paper was standard, apart from Section C which was application based and required a high order thinking, other questions found quite easy to me." Akash is expecting a score above 35.
Charu Malhotra, PGT Business Studies, Mount Abu Public School, Rohini reviewed the class 12 Business Studies paper as standard and balanced. According to the teacher, "The paper was good, followed the pattern of CBSE marking scheme and sample papers. The questions were NCERT based, few questions in section was application based, required a high order thinking. There were 20 questions on case studies."
Seema Behl, Principal, Brain International School said that the paper was balanced. "Every section has equal weightage, there was one spelling mistake in question number 3, Part D, the word societal was misspelled as socieal." US Verma, Director Principal, Modern DPS, Faridabad analysed the paper as scoring and well balanced. "The paper was NCERT based, questions were well balanced in every section. The students can easily fetch good marks in the paper."
CBSE's Business Studies paper can easily be categorised as one of the easiest papers of recent times. Given the challenges faced by students due to lack of physical classes and infrastructure (particularly in rural areas) during the pandemic, the board had kept the question paper very simple and straight forward. Meera Panday, teacher, VidyaGyan School, Bulandshahr said, "Irrespective of the shortage of sample papers and question banks, we had provided the support material to our students. Teachers had a tough time in creating MCQ based question papers for practice but we are fully satisfied with the question paper. The students had prepared for a much tougher paper but they found this one quite easy. All the students were very happy and satisfied. My students are confident to secure full marks in this paper."
Sarika Mathur and and Anjana Kaushik, teachers from Army Public School, Delhi Cantt reviewed the Business Studies paper as balanced and students friendly. "Approx 60 per cent of the questions were direct, the paper was based on NCERT pattern. A couple of questions related to Case Studies were tricky and lengthy which requires in-depth knowledge and thinking skills. Students who have prepared from the NCERT textbook are expected to score well," said the teachers.
