CR450 bullet train reached a top speed of 450 kmph during pre-service trials in October 2023. Commercial launch of the CR450 bullet train is planned for 2026 on the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu route. Train features a 15-metre nose cone and reduced air drag by 22 per cent with enclosed bogies.
