As hostilities deepened in West Asia following strikes on Iran, investors moved swiftly into bullion. The price of gold in India rose to Rs 1,73,090 per 10 grams, up from Rs 1,62,490 in the previous session. Silver followed suit, rising to Rs 2,94,900 per kilogram on Monday from Rs 2,82,140 on Friday.
