India Matters: Mizoram - Injecting Change

As World Aids Day approaches on December 1, there is increased attention on the North East, including Mizoram, by the National Aids Control Organization. Sex workers and injecting drug users in Mizoram are high risk groups for HIV infection and government programmes are focussing on reaching out to them with HIV prevention campaigns. But fear of being identified as a sex worker or injecting drug user is creating its share of problems. A special report by NDTV's Sutapa Deb.
