Astronomers have detected the largest stellar black hole with its mass 33 times that of the Sun in the Milky Way galaxy. It is also the second closest black hole to Earth, just 2,000 light years away from the planet. The black hole was discovered by the European Space Agency. Timo Prusti, a scientist at the European Space Agency, says the discovery has helped connect two theories.
