The war in Ukraine seems to have entered a new dangerous phase, with Russia switching tactics from attacking military targets, to targeting civilian areas in cities - a deadly escalation which has left one Indian student dead. This escalation comes at a time of questions being raised over whether Russia overestimated the effectiveness of their own superior war machine and underestimated the Ukrainian response.
